1. Godel, Escher, Bach: an eternal golden braid
 
All terrestrial lives know I love this book. I am  aware that I may not be smart enough to fully comprehand it, but it does not prevent me from appreciate its beauty. At occations, I consider all the comparison between arts and science bullshit. But in these books, Douglas Hofstadter(?) tries to illustrate science by arts as analogies.
 
Some said that the author aimed at showing how smart he is in linking painting, music and AI together. I agree. It is no serious stuff and he just said:" look! Isn't it cool?" What's wrong with cool things anyway?
 
2. Vanity fair by W. Thackery
It adds a dimension to my heart and I have been cynical ever since. Besides it contains the timeless female character Becky and she is engraved in hearts of every readers of this book.
 
3. High Fidelity by Nick Hornby
A good laugh. Every girl must read it before they marry someone because this books gives away loads of guy's secrets.

If someone love this book, I think I know what kind of person he or she is.
